New Year, New Me, New Content

Hey guys, we are FINALLY in 2019! I hope you all got into the new year well?
I, for once, went to a party with a bunch of my old school friends and ended up having a great time! Though as lovely as it was seeing everyone again, it was also a slightly odd experience. Mostly because I was finally presented with the “adult” version of all my old teenage friends and it was weird seeing how much everyone had changed. Though mostly in appearances as they were all still just as easy and lovely to talk to as they used to be!
At the party, before everyone else arrived, all the girls had decided beforehand to have dinner together. It was a lovely opportunity to catch up and get “re-acquainted” with each other and so we ended up playing a game in which we listed the 3 best things to happen to us in 2018. Mine where:

  • Unintentionally being In WillIAm’s Instagram story at the Black Panther Premiere, because how the hell does that even happen!? I didn’t even notice until it was pointed out to me! It’s so cool!!
  • Meeting Ryan Reynolds in London was truly a highlight as well. What an amazing guy! And SO dreamy too!
  • Going to Universal Studios in Florida.
This one is truly special to me because I never thought I would be able to go and see all the things I saw there. It was an amazing experience that I’ll truly never forget!

It was a great mood booster around the table and nice to reminisce and talk about our highlights like that! And even though they will probably never read this, I still want to thank them for that. It was a great ending to 2018.

However, now we’re in 2019 and hopefully, this will be a year full of even more opportunities and chances. Not just for travelling (Though I think it’s highly unlikely that I’ll be doing much of that any time soon) but also for personal growth.
Last year was a little crazy for me towards the end. Not to mention out of control, so I want to make sure that I take it slower this year and go at my own pace. That’s also why I’ve been meaning to ask you guys what you would like to see more off from me in the coming year. I know I have some opinions about where I want to take the channel/blog and what I want to write/vlog about but we’re all in this together and I would like to hear your opinions.

I’m sorry that it’s a short update today but I want to make sure I have the proper stuff planned and I was out of commission for the entirety of Monday (I got a little tipsy guys, I’m sorry! Remember to drink responsively!!) and Tuesday went by in a flash so I figured it’d be a good idea, that the first blog post in the New Year was one you could all comment on with your own ideas and input!

Lastly, I want to thank you guys for the support you have lent me throughout 2018 and for your continued support in 2019. There are no words to describe how thankful I am to have you guys here with me, following my own personal journey as I stumble through life. It’s nice to know you are out there and that you care. <3

Anyway, let me hear what you have to say! Questions are also always welcome and I will try to answer them to the best of my abilities!

xoxo

I’m glad you had a great time with your friends! I was wondering if you have anymore recipes you’d like to share with us?? Or maybe some room inspiration? Have a good one!

I would love to see you and other creatives collaborate together! Whether it’s videos, art, blog stuff, I would just love to see your creativity along with others

I’m happy you had a fun night, I was playing board games with friends and it was quite fun. Personally content wise, I’m fine with anything and everything. I’m not at all picky and anything you feel like doing is fine by me!

Sounds like you had a great time for New Year’s!!
For 2019, I always say how much I love your art so of course I’d love to see more, or even speedpaints, but your content always makes me smile regardless, so do whatever makes you happy

Hey Signe! I’m glad you had an awesome New Years and that you got to catch up with all your friends!

Content wise, I’d love to see what school ends up being like for you. How you study, maybe, or projects you’re doing. I’d also be interested in more fitness, health and fashion from you, because you’re my current go to for that! Really, though, anything you love or inspires you, because that’s always the best content.

I’m curious, would you be open to doing a collab with a new person? If so, what would be the best way to contact you about it?

It’s nice to hear you started off your year well Signe!
Maybe you could do more day to day things like what you do with your day, outside vlogs and maybe some home decor tips? I’m decorating at the moment and I’m stuck on where I want to go with it. Love your blog as always!

I’m glad 2019 has been good to you so far & had a really good new years! Some things I would like to see in the new year from you are some more photography and scenic vlogs. Those never fail to make me feel calm and just put me in a good mood. But also, whatever you want to do is something we’ll always love & suport. Happy 2019 Signe ❤️

Glad you had a good time with friend Signe! And honestly? I wanna see you do the things you wanna do. Whether that be hauls, art, beauty, etc. I love hearing you talk about the things you love (and I’m not just trying to be nice lol. I really mean that!) have a great 2019!

  • Shelby

It’d be amazing to see more clothing hauls and know where you got them! Also more speed paints please cause I love your art style and just art in general so it would be great to see more of that. And I’m glad you had a wonderful 2018 and I wiishu (see what I did there) a wonderful 2019!

    Hi Wiishu!

I’ve been a passive follower in the background, but love your content and videos. I was hoping to see more of your art style / process / inspiration? Are there certain books you love / use when creating? Certain websites?

I’ve been getting back into drawing again, and am tinkering around with the idea of putting together a baby webcomic — mainly something to keep me consistently drawing and practicing while planning for a bigger project later. I’m self-taught, so still have a lot to learn. But I love seeing other artists’ (such as yourself) processes and inspiration / techniques and tricks. Do you have a favorite place to find reference poses? Do you / artists even use reference poses? What do you think is the most challenging aspect? (Also a stupid question; but what is the internet web etiquette for art? Obviously, no stealing, but I’ve seen comments on paint-overs of photographs and stuff like that being frowned on and such…)

Thanks for reading, and being so engaging with your supporters! I can’t wait to hear of your many new adventures! I hope you love school despite the new challenges it’ll bring. In the end, it’s worth it (at least in my opinion).

    Here’s to a purposeful and fulfilling 2019!

    Hey Wiishu,

I love your channel and want to know when you are doing more art, as I want to study Digital Art when I leave school and go into Video Game business. Could you give some advice on drawing as I am beginning to draw OCs and it is different to drawing dogs and cats.

I am glad that you having fun with friends and I hope you have a wonderful 2019!

    • wiishu

That’s exciting! Good luck with it!

I don’t know if I can give advice that is that broad but I encourage you to go search the web for that information, inspiration, tutorials and other things like it. I know that helped me when I first started out!
